Girl, I was in Japan this past June and you HAVE to make it to the Ghibli museum there at some point. We got a coffee table book there with all pictures of the museum. You’re not allowed to take pictures of it when you’re there, so I wanted the book to remember it by. I cried so many times over how magical and beautiful it was. You would love it.

I recently bought the collector's edition of This Savage Song by V. E. Schwab, which I'm so happy about! I kept thinking about buying it ever since I finished the Monsters of Verity duology but then I never did because it did cost quite a bit of money compared to the paperback books I normally buy. However... I received a gift card and that decided it for me, I bought the book and now it's looking gorgeous on my shelf 🥰

Books that I recently bought were Iron Flame, Powerless, and my friend bought me the third book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series. I am waiting on my library hold of Red Rising, The Ogress and the Orphans, The Wishing Game, and Spy X Family Volume 10. I have plans to read A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking next month since I have been wanting to read T. Kingfisher's work. I think next year goal is to read more middle grade books since my daughter is that age and I will be able to offer her suggestions of books to read with her. Love a good book haul video.

I read Throne of the Fallen and I’ve just jumped headfirst into Kerri Manascalcos backlog. Starting with the Kingom of The Wicked series. Im 3/4 of the way through the first one and I’m loving it ☺️ (also before that I read The Seven Year Slip and it was so fast and easy to read, I read it in a few hours!

I recently bought "The Undetectables" and "The Hurricane War," which I'm very excited about, and I FINALLY got my copies of "Spells for Forgetting" and "In the Company of Witches" in the mail. The worst thing about living in a non-English speaking country - having to order books online and wait at least two weeks to get them 😂

@@charliescozycorner exactly, people will still watch her videos despite the fact she’s supporting an author that thinks it’s okay for over 14,000 Palestinians to be massacred by the Israeli government. What I want to know is why SHE thinks that’s okay. Because by supporting this author that’s EXACTLY the message she’s sending. That she too is okay with over 5,000 children being murdered by bombs. Her audience isn’t made up of only privileged white people, you think that some of the people that support her n loved her content aren’t Palestinian? Or have had their own countries be colonised and have had their families be killed in genocides or for simply being poc? Or religious? No. That’s unrealistic. But the message is still the same. SHE.DOESN’T.CARE.
