I first heard this song on Pandora as I was driving to work one morning. I had to pull off the road to finish listening, because my eyes were watering so. What a voice! It was only eighty days after my Mother died.put a beloved fifteen year old Lab to sleep one week later. It was a terrible time. Life gets so difficult sometimes. Music helps.

I've lost so many people in my life, Mom & Dad, all my Grandparents, All my Uncles but one now, 2 Cousins, My Aunts, some friends, My neighbor buddy's, Some of my Inlaws, My best friend in the world at our age 7, that turned my world upside down, we were just kids, well, he was the first that left, My school buddies & a couple best friends from that time period. Each time changed me. Now, as I set here with you, I know how special life is, just look around you. Some day it will be gone to us is what I learned. They'll never leave my heart, I guess I can relive them in my mind but you know, its just not the same. We all go though this, it's not just me, this is life & then one day all of a sudden ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,...................... and it rings like a huge bell inside us, me anyway, I think we're all pretty much the same aren't we though, but this bell, every freakin time some one leaves in a spirit way my mind opens to my life and well its like a tree in a way. Each death became a branch and I the trunk, but we all face up to the heavens, our life keeps reaching up. I know it hurts, but you see we're all reaching up to God, that power out there thats inside us, we're all promised to leave. Leaving isn't so bad is sort of what they've told me, what I've gathered from each, when we become one with ...... . at the right time we're blessed to go, thats so beautiful.
