Sleep is the only time our brain gets a chance to clean itself and file away any memories made that day. The amount of fluid in our brain increases by over 60% and helps our brain clean any waste that may be sitting in it and it even uses this time to support learning and memory as well as regulate mood. Not to mention that because sleep is so calm with its slow deep breaths, and relaxed muscles, taking the time to let our body rest for many hours a night is beneficial.
I chatted with Shane & Ryland about their sleep habits and how they manage them within their relationship. Hopefully some of the tips I offer them are helpful to you as well. xox
