Was 21 when I started following Hop n Swizzzz. Watched the entire FV movement start to finish. The very first time they came to Iowa City it was just Hopsin, Dizzy, Swizzzz and Hoppa. After that show I made it a goal to meet them and develop a relationship artist to artist. And that’s exactly what I fuckin did. Next 3 times any of em came back (which was mainly Dizzy, Demrick, Hoppa and Jarren) I opened for em 💪🏼😤 Developed a relationship with Dizzy and Demrick. Been tryna work with Kato personally for a min. We did online as far as me buying his beats and showing what I did to em. He’d respond everytime with both positive and constructive feedback. Learned a lot from y’all, especially the independent aspect. Next goal is a song with Dizzy and Demrick…and I’m in the process of making that happened rt now 💯 They both reached back and said “let’s do it”. Thank y’all for the knowledge…but most of all THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC YALL HAVE GIFTED US!

I saw yall perform at the FV tour at the Worcester Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts and Joyner Lucas was the opening act. That was maybe, 6 months before Joyner blew up. Think about this… I was a young, aspiring rapper who had a fiendish need for underground concerts. I went to the FV show and saw Joyner, Jarren, Dizzy then Hopsin. You fellas spoiled your fanbase, forreal! Congrats on your incredible run and salute to your next run. Loved the interview.

Great interview! Loved Funk Volume, and I'm still following and listening to all of you guys, including SwizZz! Gotta say it's a little disappointing that Kato didn't know what Dizzy is up to, as he already released 3 albums this year 😂 I'm pretty sure that over the past decade there's not a single artist that has dropped as many projects as Dizzy, regardless of the genre. On another note; I love it every time I see a new track from Kato or a new Jarren-song in my "New releases"-list on Spotify, and most of them go straight into rotation. I especially love your style and flow, Jarren! 🙏
