Her professionalism is really incredible. I just remember when she told her audience in her Day-2 concert of the Golden Hour. Before she sing the My Sea that she feels terrible in her ears (she had patulous eustachian tube dysfunction like she cant hear well and hear her own voice loudly) before the end of day 1 con because of the hot weather. We thought her ears is already ok. But i guess the weather trigger it. And she still in pain in day 2. And its almost 3 hrs past already when she told that. Imagine how professional she is that no one notice she suffering with her ear problem while shes performing on the stage. And then belting many songs with high notes like good day in that state. Then my sea with another high note again. While Feeling the pain and maybe cant hear well too that time. But she did it flawlessly and people cheered that time. Mad respect to this girl 👏👏👏.

Despite her compromised condition, I think it contributed to the emotional delivery of the song and video. I felt her tiredness and felt it was appropriate for the 2 characters who were on the edge of existence. She put her heart and soul into it!

I think part of the reason for the rush to finish the MV was because V only had 1 week left before entering the military. The director's schedule was also packed. I imagine it would have been a nightmare to re-assemble everyone involved if she postponed the shoot. IU rocks!

IU has been an artist for 16 years, and when she was interviewed for this album, she was able to confidently say, "I won the battle with myself every day," meaning that she is where she is today because she has overcome her circumstances and situations over the years. She said that it would have been best if she could have had a leisurely schedule with plenty of rest, but she had to fit in with the schedule of the M/V director and V, and above all, she didn't want to make her fans wait any longer. From a fan's perspective, I think the best thing to do is to respect her choice and recognize the hard work she put into this album.

It's partly because her agency was established around her as the main artist and she has seniority (is older) over most of the staff. the composer of this song calls IU noona. she wasn't using honorifics with all the staff in the recording video so most likely she is older than all of them. she's also considered a veteran in the Korean music industry.

They were rushing because she was filming a dorama at the same time, so they had to take advantage of the days off from filming that they had. From what I can gather from all the behind the scenes: - V was to join the military the week after. He likely only had those 2 days to shoot the video. - The recording was done the day immediately after the second day of the mv shoot with V. (She got sick on the first day of the mv, this was 2 days after that) - As people have commented, this month was one of the busiest ever for IU. Likely she had not a single other day she had the possibility to do the recording, without completely messing up the schedule for either her mini album or the drama she was acting in.

There are some incredible live singers in korea. Some of them are not well known outside korea. IU is a legend in korea but her style is not that popular in west. I love her voice especially the way she emotes through her songs. Another one I was blown away by was Lee Seung gi . I always thought he was an actor but he is an incredible live singer. then I came to know that Lee Seung gi is incredibly popular in Korea and is known for his live singing.

IU is also a producer for this song, so she had a lot of say during this recording and how she wanted to hear it being sung. She was incredible to push through like this with her extremely busy schedule having caught the flu during the making of the MV and need to get the song released on time. What a fighter! She’s funny, sincere, and very professional with a voice that makes you feel! I listen to her though I’m ARMy and watched the MV for V. I hope the 2 of them do a collab someday 🫶🏼💕

wah! this is a struggle to watch! but I also worked in a production whereas we needed recordings, and all schedules are already set and under-pressure. our talent wasn't necessarily sick, but mostly their voices are a little hoarse due to continuous rehearsals and other media schedules. it's hard but we know that we can't have any more delays or everything will fall-apart!

Love Wins All randomly played on my Spotify playlist and when she got to the chorus, tears fell from my eyes without me even realising. I was going through a rough patch and studying abroad, far from my family and friends back home, added to the whole loneliness. But knowing that even IU had to go through heaps of obstacles to get a recording done to perfection, it gave me reassurances that I have to push myself.

This video was good for IU's reputation but terrible for EDAM. They now look like chose to harm the artist who bankrolls the whole company. I'm surprised they Okay'd this being released without at least a shot of IU saying it was her choice to keep going ☹

IU is the producer and overall vision of the project, she is also a majority share of EDAM, so she is the boss in charge of her own destiny. The music producers can be seen discouraging her from continuing, but you can also see her determination and direction to the team which is what separates those who went above and beyond what is needed, or the 'normal'. It won't work for everyone, but it is usually those die-hards, who risk it all that make the difference between someone becoming legendary to those who merely did their job.
