Katrina's emotions are real. this was one of her first videos after taking a break from social media following the passing of her husband, Mike Shapiro, last year. Katrina became a wife and a widow in a span of 6 months and it is a lot to take. i admire her for her strength and coming back and putting out quality stuff like this considering that tragedy in her life, is not easy...but she's moving forward and picking up the pieces. i pray for strength, happiness and more success for her that she so deserves.

Philippines music industry is quite competitive as u know humongous talented singers, often no formal training ( lack of financial resources). Struggling artists would join to talent show .. until some kind of break .. even winner . Mostly these singer start at young age.. Karaoke is a past time hobby in PH Bella Santiago Filipina winner of Voice Romania 2018 She entered the Eurovision 2018 or unsure 2019 You can check it out - tot will be surprised- cause she speak Romanian and sang many languages..

The most unusual thing is that jessica villarubin has a resonance, and the sound comes out. that's normal Katrina Velarde doesn't have any resonance at all, and it sounds like she's voicing through her throat. Very strange. The reason there is no resonance is because the starting point of the voice is high.
