Also if anyone tested on people that would be fine because those people would volunteer and then go home after unlike the animals who are kept in labs to constantly have makeup put on them for their whole lives without any love or a family.

Let me start by saying I'm old. In my 50's actually. I wanted to see how you felt about your tattoos because I had a negative bias in my mind toward them because of a sociopathic and ODD step daughter. Part of her behavior is being covered in badly done tattoos and piercings. Thanks for showing me that you can have them done well, increase your self esteem, and really express yourself through body art. I'm not going to do the oh I don't like them bit. They suit you and I'm happy that you love them. Turns out I really dislike disjointed, crazy looking tattoos because they're a reflection of her disordered thinking and rage. I worry so much that her daughters who are 15 and 12 will want to emulate her and not see that things like being hung from hooks to get married and threading bows into the skin of her back is a rebellion and not happiness and acceptance of herself. So thank you, you've given me a lot to think about and a more accepting mind about tattoos.

Kate G I’m in my 50s and first can I say 50s doesn’t mean you’re old not at all, I have 5 tattoos and don’t regret any of them, mine have specific meaning to me and I chose each of them with care, in my opinion if you take good care of your skin they will always look good, I’m only 6 and a bit years away from 60 and I don’t care what other people think about my body art I actually love it and that’s all that matters really 🥰

I worry that’s how others see my tattoos, as I got the majority of them in a dark place. I hope to get more & even still I love the ones I have. Maybe I’ll get them touched up when I’m wealthier & ready.

In my case, there are a lot of years of being hurt by this person and having the family drag me over the coals (in public last year) for not buying into her crazy abuse of everyone she touches. I'm trying to not judge and simply accept tattoos are a unique part of each person's journey. Beauty isn't on your skin, it shines from your eyes and your heart. I hope that all of the new tattoos that you get are ones that make you very happy! :) Much love from a Gran.

@@kateg7298 You definitely did not hurt my feelings, it’s just something that’s been on my mind privately for a while & I guess it felt good to vocalize it - even if that’s in a space online like this. I can understand you have pain relating to your relationship with this person & that definitely changes your perspective on them & by extension what they do with their body. I think it’s beautiful that your perspective is slowly changing & you’re growing - even in your 50’s. A lot of people don’t think they have to continue growing or that they can once they reach a certain age. But basically, I took absolutely no offense, I just found commenting to be a form of catharsis in all the pain associated with the time in my life that I got the majority of my tattoos. Edit: That is also horrendous that your family would publicly do something like that to you.. I hope you’re doing okay & have a safe space to be away from all of that.

It’s just a normal foundation. A lot of people use it. My daughter uses it for stage makeup because it holds up to stage lights well.

Honestly, and take this as frank as I mean it, I see the same thing. With or without tattoos I see the same person because you don't come across as someone who's defined by their tattoos. And I say take this frankly because I don't mean it offensively. Someone can have their hair, material possessions, their profession, etc. define them. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but losing it could act as their kryptonite.

One thing I do with this product is to use a sponge or brush, depending on how I feel, to apply and then use a setting powder to make it more matte. And you can mix two different colors to try and match your own body's natural color. On one note, if you look at the color, it seems to match your face in tone.

You look good with and without your tattoos. every person with tattoos(including myself) knows the feeling when their tattoos are not as exciting as they were when freshly tattooed, simply because people get used to things. duh... I mean heck, my hearts does not bead as hard and fast as it used to be when my girl would look in my eyes or say my name, I got used to her after years, she is not as exciting as she was in our first few years, it is just a fact of life. Do I want to break up with her? of course Not! but I could if I wanted to. sadly you can not really break up with your tattoos even if you wanted to, even if you laser them away, marks and scars are still left. They are like scars that we chose to live with. they make us who we are and it is okay.
