This was SUCH A GOOD video!!! Gosh!!!!! And i completely agree with this con giving the inspiration to finish up some of your own creative stuff. There was something about this Katsu, where it had this sparkle that i feel like i haven't seen at cons for a while. It was so good that i got REALLY bad food poisoning that laid me out for almost two weeks, and I still think it's been one of the best cons I've gone to for YEARS. @@storylogic8 my whole group got it from a place an hour away where we were staying. I was lucky and scraped by without getting TOO too miserable beyond being feeling so weak and dehydrated, but my friends had it so much worse 😭😭 i think it's just what it was.... But!! Even so, it was so good!!! And sure!! I'm going all three days, I'm REALLY curious to see what it's like in the summer with the whole javits to itself 👀

@@storylogic8 it's one of my favorite cons 😭😭😭💙💙 I've gone since they started, and they're one of the only conventions I've seen do things Right™️. They pay the staff working it, they constantly promote small businesses near them, and they actually refunded people the day/weekend for the first con after covid where the line on Friday to get in lasted like four hours (they fixed it by Saturday). I've NEVER seen a convention admit they fucked up and then actually give money back to cover it. Plus it's just really nice >< it used to be in November, but i think they realized they could rent more of the space if they did it in summer, so they're trying that out this year for the first time
