I live in North Carolina and it's so pitiful because it was the mountains that got hit, not the coast. Those people are not at all prepared for a hurricane. They normally just get rain. They got the news that a hurricane was coming but they simply just don't get this kind of flooding there so they didn't think about it too much. Hurricane effects are normally minimal in the mountains. Where I live, the bread and water gets bought out when there's a hurricane coming and we all know to get gas and other supplies. Many are stranded up there because they have no gas to get out. There are still a lot of people missing.😢
