First time I can't play a LiS game (I only own a mac and PS4 lol), so I'm even more grateful than normal to have Katy's playthrough! It's the next best thing to playing it myself. I played around in the accessibility settings and was very happy they have a lot of options on different things, and options to increase the choice time and confirm choices. You can even choose a mode to hit a button to uncover all interactable objects. I usually miss so much in these games!

That choice at the end of LiS 1 was brutal. But I also chose to save the town. It was the right thing to do, in my opinion, and it was what Chloe wanted. It was a great arc for her, from utterly selfish to completely selfless. It hurt like hell to do it though, and that is why that game is just so great. (again, in my opinion)

Chloe asking for Max to save everyone was a big reason why I chose to save the town. I kind of think that would make a good reason for their break up in this game if someone chose to save her. If Chloe could never get over the guilt of being the one who lived, knowing that if she died everyone else would survive…it would make a pretty good reason for her to not be able to be with Max anymore.

TBH when I played the first Life Is Strange game I thought that Chloe was too into Rachel Amber. all i heard the whole game was how amazing and wonderful and her angel etc, and she was so hateful towards Max that i didnt believe she could have any feelings towards her...I also chose to save the town because Chloe was supposed to die from the start...killing the whole town for 1 person to me was a horrible decision, even though, I grew to like Chloe...

Saving Chloe is my "canon" ending in the original LIS, and I stuck with that for True Colors, but given the choice between "we broke up" and "she died" I think I'd be inclined to go with the latter to preserve my preferred outcome for the _other_ timeline. That way I can pretend my canon Max just continued into the comic book stories.

At the beginning of the video, she’s like “nobody choice shame anybody for any choices they make in the game”. I’m thinking “who does that? Why would they do that? That just seems dumb. I thought that’s part of the reason we watch people’s play throughs 🤔. If someone doesn’t like the choices being made, they can play the game hisself / herself and make the choices he / she wants to see….or look up what happens with different choices on KZbin. I’m sure they can find them.

Many folks fail to recognize and accept that Max suffers of a severe PTSD after being forced to choose between a town and her best friend (and let's not forget psycho Jefferson 😅), and she's still hurt inside 🥺❤ In 10 years many things happens (or could happen), including relationship falling apart. I don't blame Deck Nine for following that route on Chloe/Arcadia Bay situation for this game, it's a fitting scenario to a now adult 28yrs old Max trying to find her place in the world. She's not a teenager anymore :) I enjoyed Double Exposure ❤

Tbh although I have mixed feelings about this installment they certainly didn't shy away from her sexuality based on the first two chapters. I'll keep this comment spoiler free, and just say that aside from a female love interest Max does express interest in women in other moments including her diary. In my play though between her memories of Chloe (RIP), her love interest, her thoughts, etc, she's very sapphic
