This cover gave me goosebumps, as I think about my mom and dad. My father died when I was six. My mother raised my brother and me on her own. She told me before that they met when they were kids around 8, then felt in love in high school. I still remember the first days after dad’s funeral, my mom would hide her sorrow from us by crying herself to sleep. She played dad’s old CDs, cooked his favorite dish, kept his clothes neatly folded as if he was still there. She tried to be optimistic in front of us, but I could always see the burden in her smile.
