You say that like it's a totally new concept for women who are musicians to continue playing their instruments while pregnant. The babies of literally every female musician ever, famous or not, has been used to hearing music and/or their mother singing in-utero. Often, a restless baby can be soothed by mama playing/singing; although it does get a bit difficult for mama in the last month if she's a guitarist/cellist/singer (as is the case with me and my pregnancies). The baby takes up too much room to hold a guitar or cello, and her lungs are squished to approximately 50% of their normal size which makes getting the big breaths to belt out a long or high note impossible.

Whenever I read comments of people saying she’s a flop, untalented, she doesn’t have “it” anymore… I feel really sad for them cuz they only know her from the superstar/performer perspective. A lot people may fool you with props, lighting and costumes, but who are they when all of it is gone? Katy has NEVER needed any of that. Just her and her guitar is enough, but it’s amazing to see how all of the other stuff is literally just… extra. A pen, a guitar and her voice are enough. Gosh, I just admire her so much.

Just realized how this song is so pure. Katy's good vibe comes from the inside. You really can feel it!

the fact that you couldn't notice her pregnancy shows how mind blowing and nostalgic this performance was ...

this song was and will be always be my favorite Katycat’s song. Now she bring this back with her guitar. I miss this. I wish things can get well. This world is tearing down.

This is the best and relaxing “Thinking of You” performance these days of the pandemic. I feel good to listen to this the whole day.

I‘m not a fan of her but the fact that she is performing this with her little baby in her stomach makes it really special and I have a lot of respect for her that she still manages to perform.

I remember seeing her perform a live 3-song acoustic set back in 2009 at the Virgin Radio opening party in Vancouver, and she included this song. This brings me back. (And yes, we got to meet her as part of a special meet and greet, and she was so lovely. One the my best celebrity interactions I’ve ever had)
