the way youtube recommended this in 2024...can't believe it's been 15 years since this MV was released. i remember back then when i was a child, everyone around me were so into katy that i was never aware of why she was a thing. i refused to submit into that world-- i was a child who was only existing in her own world; all i ever listened to were opera & classical songs lol and avril lavigne. then my cousins introduced me to katy through one of her youtube videos and actually enjoyed her music. then my music teacher had forced me to sing "firework" for an intermission thing in front of the school while still trying to learn more of katy perry. i think i was 10 when i truly became a fan of hers. i will be 24 this year now. how time flies. i had so many nostalgic memories connecting to katy. still to this day, she's still a legendary icon; who contributed so much and inspired many artists in pop music today.
