Thanks for sharing this Adam. That trail looks beautiful but also treacherous with all that rain! Here, we call that lichen "caribou moss"... but, caribou and reindeer are essentially the same animal. Lots of it around northeast Minnesota and up into Canada. Enjoyed the closeup of the sundews. We have them around here as well but I've never knowingly seen them. Now, I have a better idea what to look for :) . Thanks again and atb -Larry

@@Ceolskog Nice! Also, your song Giant of the Sky got me intrigued about what this bird was. I looked it up, and I didn't realize an Eagle could weigh so much! That song reminds me of the eagle snatching the snake on the Mexican flag. Similar thing, but a snake is on a cactus and the eagle sees it. It swoops down and kills it!

Full view Adam - really enjoyed the walk in bugs, lychen and all - apart from the idiot vandals. Yeah, a gnarly path full of great vibes. Love the hut - I've seen you there before I think. The food was certainly good as was the sunrise. Lovely up there. Well, back in the water - good going. Mark
