Wonderful trail Adam mate ! ..a truly beautiful place !! ..awesome !! That meat cupboard store is interesting,, I always sleep on the floor.. lol.. my bad back from years of surfing !! 😁 ..that Weta was a monster.. I'd of had that on the BBQ !! lol

Thanks again, oh you were a surfie, that explains some things! Haha! Yeh that wētā was pretty cool, big for a "cave" wētā. There's also "tree" wētā (most common and quite aggressive). There are "giant" wētā here too, the size of rats, although I've never seem them, apparently they are gentle giants and love carrots, quite rare though. And very very rare is the "tusked" wētā, never seen one of those either.
