I’ve heard the helicopter tours are quite expensive understandably so, but how much was this one per person? I love that you got to walk to the waterfall! So cool!

Expensive indeed, but very competitive compared to other tours and well worth the cost. Pricing on islandhelicopters.com has the Island Skies Tour at $250 per person, while the tour featured in my video is $404 per person (big difference between the two tours is ours lands at the falls while the other does not). You may be able to negotiate a favorable rate if you book for all six seats for your group 🤙

I just got back yesterday. Open top helicopter ride is $350-400. Covered top is around $250.00.

When would be the best time during the day to have a helicopter ride in Kauai in July? Early morning? Also, is this helicopter tour "door off"?Thanks!

Hi @drwenchannel, earlier in the morning is best - less of a chance of poor weather. This tour is “doors on.” Are you traveling to Kauai this July? What else will you see??

I think it depends on the weather. The helicopter only takes off with the correct weather condition, we had to wait till day 3 to reach the right moment to go. So, if you book morning doesn't mean you can go, the company will let you know when. We ended up leaving at 2 pm.
