It’s on Hwy 34, between Kaufman, and Terrell.

Is there an admission fee, or a cost for parking nearby that you know of? Considering coming here from Kansas to view the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. Though the city might actually find a way to charge people that day if people go as crazy as they did for the 2017 one. Haha.

Suresh Jani yes, it’s about 20 miles east of Dallas, off 175 in Kaufman.

Is there still fishes in the lake my bro goes every week but doesn’t catch anything

It was if you had a boat although around 25 years ago they put grass carp in which ate all the hydrela and killed the oxygen off. There are fish in it though the lake is in poor condition the front one is completely silted in by crop erosion. Before that happened we were catching bass all day going from 5 to 10 lbs now it's just chocolate milk due to carp.

I'm not sure I would even eat anything out of it either they put in lots of trailer homes in which caused the green slime on the water caused by septic runoff.

Lol I fish at cedar creek now learning to catch cat fish even though I don’t like catfish I’m used to salt water fishing.
