Yasmin Mogahed was my first sister in Islam. I may say, she was my window in coming to Islam. And may Allah reward her for everything she went through with me without even knowing ❤. She was my first insight in this beautiful life I wish I had heard her sooner.

It is always an honor and a pleasure to listen to Yasmin Mogahed. In one of her old lectures, she mentioned that our hearts are meant for Allah and have different compartments. The central part, the most important place, should be dedicated to Allah. When we give that love to other human beings and then lose them, our hearts ache greatly. We feel a deep sense of loss, hopelessness, and even depression. I reflected on this and realized its truth within myself. There is room for all halal relationships in our hearts, but we should love Allah the most, as He is our Creator and Savior. I also want to credit Kavita Sidhu for the way she conducted the interview. She asked genuine and spiritually thoughtful questions. One excellent question was about spiritual fatigue, which resonates with many Muslims around the world, including myself in regards with the Pelestinian .Well done, everyone!

I feel so happy listening how deeply she cares about Palestinians. Its amazing how all of us 2-3 billion people transcending borders have them on our hearts and in our prayers constantly. Its a great feeling of oneness 🇵🇸

I truly enjoyed this interview, Kavita is genuinely curious and respectfully she asks questions in such a beginner way which allowed Yasmin to go deeper into the topics. I appreciate this podcast. It was beautiful and egoless❤

I thoroughly was inspired and enjoyed this interview. The thoughtful questions asked by Kavita and the way Yasmin answered so honestly, created a beautiful understanding: similar but different & we need to respect each other differences in order to live together and prosper. Thank you❤. Good advice on the ongoing Genocide, we need to be proactive against oppression because it affects everyone.

I love the discussion on parenting and fatherhood. Encouraging thoughts and opinions, valuing a child's intrinsic motivation, creating a positive environment for growth, modelling positive behaviour, and always bringing the focus back to God are useful strategies for the raising resilient children. Thank you for this episode!

An interview like this is challenging because one can easily give answers that will direct the non muslim further away from islam. Yasmin tackled it well.. The way Kavitha worded her questions and respons to Yasmin’s answers were also admirable. Because this could quickly become a heated debate otherwise..

This is so interesting and engaging a non Muslim Malaysian being a moderator for a very highly profile and intellectual international Muslim preacher.
