Ponnamma aunty did many memorable roles with my father when he was an actor ; in most of those films she did play the role as achan's mother like in OMANATHINKAL and DEVADAS ; when achan started direction, Ponnamma aunty did play a wonderful role that of Shanker uncle's mother in his debutant movie SUGHAMO DEVI...After that she did two more memorable directorial movies of achan KIZHAKKUNARUM PAKSHI & KALIPPATTOM...not only this, perhaps the most important fact is that she had acted in a film for which my appuppan Nagavalli RS Kurup had wrote script AMBA AMBIKA AMBALIKA...This whole episode could be better described as emotions recolled in Tranquility...
