@@williambuckman8359 I have seen people fishing there. The legality of which, I don’t know. :) However, along the banks, if you use a bit of imagination, you will find rocks that look like the arrowheads that didn’t make the cut.

Hello, I just stumbled across your channel recently and I myself also love Kansas City history. I was wondering if you’ve ever been to Sauer castle in kck, very interesting place with lots of history.

Hi Adam - I have read about the Sauer Castle and seen it through the fence. However, the Unified Government, along with a court order, boarded up the house this past December. There are fears of the poor quality of the home leading to injury, or worse. In fact, the front porch collapsed a few months ago. Along with this is an issue of owed money on the part of the owner. So, unfortunately, the fate of Sauer Castle does not look promising.
