1:10 into the video it states that the audio source is two microphones. So you’re hearing the piano’s speaker outputs. If this were direct input sound, the quality would be even better sounding. But the speakers are not bad. It’ll sound amazing when playing the instrument and listening with headphones.

Indeed as the person below kindly pointed out, for this one the audio sources is a stereo mic set-up. When recording with Line In you hear the sound engine in its purest form, I find that it can sometimes be a bit misleading and doesn't represent the actual sound of the piano which is transmitted through its speakers.

@@pianovertu That's a good point that I hadn't ever thought of. Of course you have to have a really good recording system to compensate. How's the feel of the piano over the haptic feedback of a Roland? Is there really any difference between the 256 polyphony against unlimited polyphony?
