I love Daiso miss it as I got lots of great hello kitty items in there. I have been looking at washi tape on a app I buy from, they have a petal one that you arrange to make a flower 🌼 one looked like a cherry blooms petal so beautiful. 😃😍💖🎀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👋👋👋👋

I dunno about you, but I'm an 80's kid. Way back when the only Sanrio anyone had access to was if you were lucky enough to find some at your local Hallmark store! Stationery has always been my favorite thing. When Sanrio stores came to the US I couldn't have been more excited. I collect to this day but it seems like all the letter sets are impossible to find anymore. It feels like I'd have to travel to the other side of the world to find any in the mass amounts I'd love to continue to collect. (Which is why I enjoy your videos, you reminisce and I can enjoy the storea vicariously.) Seems like pen paling is growing amongst the younger generation of those who enjoy stationery, journaling, etc. but Sanrio stores are scarce, as are stores like Daiso in the US and while I see plenty of scrapbooking, washi tape, journaling supplies everywhere now, I'm still starved for letter sets and Sanrio- et al- merch. I still love to pen pal (bc I'm an old lady lol) but it doesn't seem to have risen in popularity enough (stateside) for letter sets or kawaii stationery to make the comeback I'm dying for! Thanks for the shop tours 💙 here's hoping it makes a huge comeback!

Ahh I am totally an 80’s kid!! I used to be super into Sanrio and pen pals among my elementary school classmates. The letter sets are super nostalgic for me too so I will just buy them even though I haven’t had a pen pal since I went to summer camp... I am saving the letter sets for the day when I send my kids to summer camp or if they study abroad, they will be getting kawaii letters from their mom via snail mail! I’m sad to hear that the stationery stores in the US are slowly disappearing, like papyrus. It seems like you’ll have to shop online for cute stationery nowadays!

I really enjoyed shopping with you. There were so many cute products! I really liked the way your store has moving racks to showcase the stickers. I love products that look like or are Stamps. There was a set of Stitch Stamp Stickers and Postage Stamp Washi Tape with animals on it that I was wishing I could have in my life. I was also wishing adult coloring book postcards were a thing here in the states. I have a cousin who would absolutely love the Winnie the Pooh coloring book!!

I agree with you it’s much better when things are packaged according to individual portions, because even though there’s more packaging there’s less food waste & it is much more practical. Here in France, there’s both but it’s usually only packaged individually when it’s marketed towards children for their breaks at school (even though they’re usually prohibited at primary school unless it’s fruits & diary products). Could you do a video about the recycling system it sounds really interesting.

The lettersets remind me of stationery I'd find in the Philippines!! There's a place called National Bookstore that's similar to Daiso in terms of content. However, I personally remember getting lettersets from some relatives, and they looked like they were from the 00s/90s. As for packaging, I'd be curious to see a video about the trash and recycling system in Japan/Korea!! I'd love to implement ways to get better at recycling~ Anyhow, I can't wait shop at Daiso when I get the chance. Thank you for sharing this tour of Daiso, Marie!!! 💕📖🖌🦄 P.S. Every time I get to the washi tape section I get overwhelmed and end up getting none. But I loved some of the ones you showed! I’m going to have to take the time to look when I go this month. So thanks for hovering and showing each kind! Takes away some anxiety. I hope that Koreapost opens up international letters to the US/Europe again soon so I can send some of the hoards of stationary that I have.
