I'd like to say fiction is wild, but honestly that's just how fiction is, it's fiction after all. then again, a lot of real people could be considered "2D" as well... some historically accurate movies get flamed for having "cartoonish villains" even after their villainy is majorly downplayed just for the sake of making the movie safe for children to watch, or to at least be played in theaters.
