I did the rollover valve in my 2022 a month after I got mine. I am very happy I found this video. I’ve been checking my tires and replaced my air filter and been stumped as to why the last month or so I’ve been getting this lag feeling. I choked the throttle adjustment. I’m definitely going to buy this fuel filter and fuel rail. I love the videos and all the information you guys give. It’s made this newbie drive like a armature. Thanks guys.

Installed my rail today, was easy thanks to the video! The only thing I ran into was once the rail was in and I tightened down the two Phillips screws, there was a little play between where the screws bottomed out and the rail. I just used a small washer on each screw and it snugged up just fine.
@fullaccessutv2 жыл бұрын
The thickness of our rail is exactly the same thickness as stock. It feels loose when you put it in, but it is supposed to be that way. The injectors float between the intake and the rail. after time they find there happy spot. It’s meant that to be that way for heat expansion and contraction. That is normal just make sure you use the little rubber washers. I’m not sure about the washers you added though?

Thanks again Jake for all you do for our community. I had everything except the fuel rail. Ordered mine last week, it's going in this weekend. 👍 Do you have any plans on supercharging one of your other KRX's?
@fullaccessutv2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Only the kraken buggy at this time. For what we’re doing I really don’t see a need for the supercharger in any of them.

Agreed. We were just discussing this. However time restraints have been the biggest issue. I’m very curious to see if there would be a difference in power and torque. However I will say there are quite a few of these tester units out and without telling anybody what the other testers have found, they are all reporting the same things. To me that was very definitive.

I just got my KRX4 yesterday. Going through all the upgrades and parts available. One thing I'm curious about especially as it relates to the fuel issue and this video. I was looking at the dyno tuner and headers. I only see one O2 sensor. Could some of this fuel starvation be due to the not reading the gases of each cylinder? Reason I ask is because on the Harley V-twin the back cylinder was always leaner because it was hotter. So I had a dyno tune box or power commander I think it was. It had a wiring harness that had 2 sensors for o2 and you got a header that had2 o2 bungs one for each head instead of just sampling combined gases in a collector. Matter of fact I think the newer Harleys now come like this. At any rate I took it to the dyno and the tech could adjust fuel delivery to each cylinder independently and moreover as you rode the tune would stay perfect as it would add fuel as needed to keep the tune precise no matter the temps in the back cylinder. Does any of this sort of theory apply to what you are seeing here? I mean if the O2 bung is just reading the one collection area perhaps the ECU thinks everything is fine when in reality the other cylinder is running lean. I'd be curious to see your thought on this matter.

Yeah we’ve had a lotta positive reviews. Some are definitely feeling more power, some notice better idle, better mileage, but I think overall everyone is noticing something a little different about their Kawasaki.

Old school trick put a little vasolime on the O-rings and it’ll slip right on and seal good without cutting the O-rings and the fuel will instantly dissolve the gasoline and cause absolutely no issues in the system. This is what we do on aircraft.

What is the a/for ratio before and after? The way to quit throwing billet stuff at this would be to run on a dynamic with a w/b sensor in each cylinders exhaust.
@fullaccessutv2 жыл бұрын
Well you can throw a ton of money added to watch it run lean on one cylinder, or you can take everyone’s opinion about it.
@covecityboys2 жыл бұрын
Did you borescope the cylinders yet? Can we see a video about the outcome with pictures of inside the cylinders?

As mentioned in the video I’ve been doing it for a year in my green car. I think that video is so boring nobody would really be interested in it. It’s a scope so you really can’t see much. You might like it.

Hey Jake, I've got a 2021 will doing the rollover valve filter and rail void warranty? And do you have to have a tuner for the filter and rail?

It should not void warranty, but of course that is up to your local dealer. You do not need a tuner

You should have no gas fumes in your car. If you do then something is wrong. With or without the valve.

Looking at a talon or krx to purchase next. I have a 2014 rzr 800s I bought brand new. It’s been a good machine but it’s past time to upgrade. The talon and krx seem to have pretty good reliability. I hear one problem with krx is the cab noise is kinda unbearable. Any opinion?
@fullaccessutv2 жыл бұрын
Not unbearable at all. It’s a little louder because it echoes through all the bigger plastics. By the way if you’re buying next week you’re stuck with the Talon. If you want a four seater you have to wait till June 7. And then probably get on a waiting list.

If the injectors are receiving the same pulse width signal (which is typical/normal) then there is no reason for cylinder 2 to be lean due to the tune. So, it has to be due to a characteristic of the air delivery/engine/fuel system capacity. Do a little math to determine what the BSFC is, set up a test rig and see what the stock filter/pump/lines/rail can provide to the injectors under load, and there is your answer. You probably have the parts laying around to build the test rig and figure out what the no kidding fuel capacity of stock fuel system is. Take that info and design a fuel system and become an internet hero. Then, send me a fuel system 'cuz you're a nice guy. :)
