On my 30yr+ tuning turbo cars its basics to install oxigen sensor in the downpipe,Mayor flaw design i saw on this beautiful kit was the oxigen sensor on the log manifold.lot of backpressure and excessive heat for it to read properly and survive.

Charge tube seems bit loose and honestly I think it would be worth making this System intercooled

Why no intercooler ? What IAT are you guys seeing , engine overheating issues at all ? Thanks ! glad to finally see a turbo kit for the krx. Such a great machine !

We are not running an intercooler because our charge tube temps are not getting above 155 degrees on the 5psi set boost level. We are not seeing any engine overheating problems. Normal operating temps in the same range as stock. Let us know if you have any more questions and feel free to check out our website for more information www.forceturbos.com

@@forceturbos thank you for the quick reply ! do you recommend keeping boost pressure at 5 psi ? I don't know what the stock internals will hold...thanks !

@@forceturbos also i don't see a bov ? Are you having any issues with compressor surge, back flow issues ? Thanks again !

@@kevshaw2020 Yes we recommend only running 5psi of pressure. The fuel pump, fuel injectors are getting close to being maxed at that boost limit. We don't know what the upper boost limit is at this time. Please call and I can give deeper details if needed. Thanks, Bryce

@@kevshaw2020 This system does Not run a BOV, It doesn't have any problems with compressor surge at all. we are running a 300 hp Turbo and setting it up at low boost. That sets up a low pressure-high volume equation. when the throttle body plate sets, the back pressure air is moving slowly enough that it only slows the compressor wheel but does not stop it. That keep the turbo out of the SURGE section of the compressor map. Great question. Thanks

Glad to see people are trying to improve this krx, but with the weight of this machine it needs much more then 40 more HP. I want CanAm power is a reliable krx. At least it's a start.

I want to see how long this setup will last. Do you think the motor will hold through out the machines life with the turbo kit? I don’t think 300 miles is enough for long term testing.

A turbo system when set up correctly and working with in the parameters of the motor will not diminish reliability. Proper maintenance on the motor will also help. We have had this KRX turbo system on the market for over a month now with great success. Give us a call if you have any questions.

Kawasaki did there homework building this machine. The internals of the krx engine are stout and should hold up just fine to the boost

That really wakes up the KRX! Would love to buy the kit but I do not want to install it. Not sure who around here in the Phoenix area could do it.

Nash powersports is installing 3 of them as I type this. Hit up Trent or Winston they will get you taken care of.

Hi Bryce, appreciate all of your efforts and the information. I have seen the other videos on BPS. I have 2 questions: Can the Turbo withstand decent jumps and impacts from landing? It looked like the tube moved easily from just your hand - are the flex mounts and brackets sufficient for really hard riding and jumping? Can you post video or better describe the amount of increased wheel spin off the line you can expect with the system with proper clutching? Does it easily do burnouts on dry rough blacktop etc? It appears in the videos it was a little sluggish out of the hole, but I assume the KRX clutch is limiting this as well as the limited boost. Would prefer to buy the clutch kit from you as well already roughly dialed in for my setup. More videos please showing performance and wheel spin etc! Drag vs. X3 Turbo base 120 HP? I'll pay to see that one!

Hello DA, The KRX turbo system can withstand the big jumps, long woop sections, and small stutter bumps with no problem. The turbo sit on top of a S10 stainless welded manifold. If that manifold fails or breaks you will pull the studs out of the motor. The charge tube is connected with silicone fitting to give quick access to the belt if needed and give flex between the turbo and air box. We will have turbos running in the score short course series very soon. Guys are loving the KRX turbo system and the power that they are gaining. Contact us direct if you have more questions info@forceturbos.com Thanks

Hello Brenden, Yes you can run a snorkel kit on the turbo. This turbo system pulls air from the stock air filter box.

How easy is it to change belt if it brakes with the charge tube in front of the cover?
@brycekendrick2249
@brycekendrick2249 3 жыл бұрын
It is not hard. There is two clamps that will need to be loosened to remove the charge tube. Then you have a clear path to the belt cover. thanks

Only problem is the probability of sand or debris ingress. Been at the dunes plenty of times where the wind is blowing sand, no chance I would open up the clean side of the intake.
