Really good to know I`m not the only one restoring one of these old Kawasaki`s. Not a lot out there on the net. Mine too was low mileage (8000), and been garaged since 1983 I believe. Slightly different model with alloy wheels rather than spoked,a standard carb rather than C.V.,and a twin leading shoe front drum brake. Most of the exhaust system was missing or rusted through and originals are rarer than hens teeth, but have overcome most problems now and looking forward to completion soon. Thanks for your videos.

I'm restoring a 1980 Kawasaki KZ250 I finally got to the point of getting the bike to turn over but now I have no spark I've replaced the ignition coil spark plug and still no spark any pointers to try and help me out?

@@reaper18723 Hi. I was lucky as I already had a weak spark. I changed the points & condenser and spark plug anyway and got a good spark. I would probably start with that.
