my first Street bike was a 76 kz 650 traded up for my 82 gpz 750 and 24 yrs,3 engines later I still ride it to this day!😎

I had ‘75 KZ 400, ‘80 KZ440 LTD belt drive and ‘81 KZ550. Also had a Kawasaki KL250 on/off road bike. I got a ‘81 KZ440 LTD from my brother after he was killed on it. The 80 440 LTD he rode up to 44000 miles before it quit running and got the ‘81 so I took the engine out of the ‘81 plus all the wiring because it was different like electric ignition, self canceling turn signals and the like. The sold it. This was back in 1990.

i have ridden and owned the kz400,440, three 750 twins, two 750 four cyls,and currently riding an 83 750 shaft, kawi's are tough, well-made, motorcycles

I bought a brown 76 KZ900 of the showroom floor for $2609.00 OTD, and would give anything to have it back! They were great bikes, but the 900 frame had a tendency to flex and get a little squirrely at higher speeds (above 105). At least that was my experience. ☮✌

My firs bike was kawasaki kz 250 and can tell many things from my experience with him. That is one hell a of a good bike. Kz series was great until second half of the 80's

I still have the 76 KZ900, 77 KZ750B, 78 and KZ750B and 79 KZ400B but I never saw this video. I remember seeing the TV set-up at the Kawasaki shop in Las Vegas but they were showing the dirt bikes then.

Great video, I have a 1977 KZ 750 myself. That video will encourage me to get mine properly running. Starts, but almost no electrics, and the carbs needs to be set up properly.

I had most of the two stroke triple's, and some the 4stokes, apart from the pollution, I liked the 2stroke triple's better. the last triple I had ,was a kh500, I much preferred to the Zed 1000, I sold it for, that's being honest. The bike I wish I always owned the kh500, it had a redesigned frame, so it wasn't a widow maker , no stupid wheelie's, unless you wanted. I had loads of the later 4 Stokes. Kawasaki made amazing bike's and I owned plenty of them , but my love is the kh

“The KZ900 limited isn’t for everyone”.. seems Kawasaki knew the limiteds looked like shit and that they were going to be used as parts bikes for standard KZ900s 40 years later.

i bought a 1976 KZ400S2 or KZ400 special with a KZ400 standard front wheel so its got disk breaks.

I owned a Kawasaki Z1 900 I wish now I still have it . I sold that bike in 2003 . I did not like the KZ vary much .

what a surprise, I didn't expect America's to misspronounce Z as zee as far back as 1976, it pronounced Zed , and for those of you that want to argue, check pronounce Queen's English Z
