Wow, just ran into this series. I too have a 77 KZ400. I am going to be rebuilding this winter. Had an oil leak, bought all the gaskets and stuff and lost interest, life ....ended up in my shed for the past 10 years.....so.... going to use your vids, plus that learning course to refresh my tired memory. Thanks for your time!

Great work, I love working on carbs. The more gummed up the better 😆

Love the KZ Twins from back in the day. Don't know how you fellas find all these sweet bikes for these builds but it sure brings back memories of my friends bikes, and how we would all hang out fixing up whatever they broke earlier that day. Take care.

I live in Maine, just found 81 KZ 440, for $ 100 bucks, like yours it needs everything. I have spent my allowance for this month, and a nice complete one 10 times better than mine for, he just lowered the price 100 down to $ 250.00. Plus 1 and a half hour drive each way to get it. It is easy to open a can of worms, on old stuff.

You got me stoked to start another old school Honda project. I'm still shaky on the points thing but, you got my skills improving.

I have an old '81 KZ305A CSR. It's probably one of the hardest bikes to find parts for. Also, an absolute pain in the ass to fix if it's been sitting. I'm extremely interested in this series as it seems relevant to my current project (since the KZ305 and the KZ400 are similar with only a few key differences in their configuration).
