I have soo many guys telling me that my 09 500r is underpowered. Staggeringly so..."oh its a 500...should have bought a 600." Idk what they heard but this bike friggin zips!!! Its my first bike, im 35 years old, and dont have a death wish. I live in ohio and in 3 days the cold will break and the precipitation will stop so I can get back on my baby, I love love love this bike!!! Its not underpowered, it is extremely responsive to pushes and leans, and if you are the type of person who grew up looking at ninjas thinking "wow!" This is it. GREAT BIKE...JUST...GREAT!!! Excellent review my man.

Probably people like me dropping down from a 1000cc sports bike. Compared to that, it's extremely underpowered. However, they're completely missing the point. I realised that I don't need 1000cc. I want something light, fun and cheap to ride, that I can take on the motorway at 70mph. The little Kwak does all of that and does it well.

It is super nimble and comfortable with tight curves canyon carving, it is extremely fun, especially for the buck. It is a parallel twin. I go 110 without even noticing, it effortlessly goes 118, it goes 120 but I keep it under 115, every weekend...😊

How does it keep up with newer 2010+ 300,400,650s I goto a lot of bike meets recently sold my 2013 300 I bought with an eco tune as it was my summer daily for work I took to bike meets aswell I was wondering if these would still keep up with newer bikes but still have that little extra power as I don’t really want a 600 or 650 as i feel like I’m too light for the power at 150

When it comes to buying parts I would try to purchase them direct Kawasaki Because then there's no confusion on your engine model if you give them the Vin they will give you the exact parts that you need for your engine.

Any older bike at this point is good for beginners, it’s going to get crashed or damaged during the learning process, but hopefully you can learn without crashing. 110 isn’t fast enough? Golly…. People really don’t understand speed.

40,000 Miles is high mileage for a sport bike just remember that walking into the sale. At 40000 miles if it hasn't had a rebuild you're looking at maybe $1200 to $1400 purchase price.

is there anything in between a 500 and a 600 in terms of weight and power?
@JesusChrist_IsTruth-LoveForALL
@JesusChrist_IsTruth-LoveForALL Жыл бұрын
Most of the 600s are super sports. Weight probably not much, but for the power the 600 smokes a 500 easily, a 650 though, then the 500 and the 650 not TOO much difference.
@IFixShet
@IFixShet Жыл бұрын
Some of the 650 parallel twin engines can get pretty rowdy I have yet to find one on power though with an actual 600 super sport. What you have to remember is in line 4 cylindersAre short shaft engines which is why they're so fast in the mid-range RP m's where a parallel twin-engine has long cylinders so they can't reach quite the same RPM value as an in line 4 that's why parallel twins are more aggressive in the low RPM range.

huge cos displacement as well as cylinders quantity or how those cylinders are setup say 💩 on true performance spcified bike gpz 500 or cb 500 make 58-60 crank hp vs feg cbr 600 f3 make 100 crank hp at 10 kg more woght and cbr 600 rrmake 115-120 crank hp at the same weight so diffrenc is huge cbr 600 rr need 6,5 sec feom 0 to 100 mph depend on rider wroght asf if rider can launch good vs gpz or cb need around 15 sec top speed 115 mph gps vs 160 mph if this is not big diffrenc for you than ok just saying 👌🏻😉 but feg yamaha xj 600 s diversion 2000 year is 61 hp 210 kg bike which have identical performance like gpz 500 and cb 500 👌🏻 bandit 600 or sv650 are midlle class in this comaprision something between supersport 600 and those 500 however closer to those 500 0-100 mph 10 sec around 62-100 mph gpz cb xj 10-11 sec vs sv bandit 6 sec vs cbr f3 4 sec vs cbr rr r6 3 sec like im saying displacement say 💩 watch on engine power and weight of bike those 2 basic stats give you basic best picture of capability specified bike if you push it really hard cos at end ypu can ride 220 hp superbike like 3 hp moped 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏻and if you want good lowend than watch for highest torq at lowest rpm 👍🏻
