Can you just replace the brake shoes while on the quad or do I have to take off those 4 bolts inside?

Um pretty sure that's the pipe that the axle runs through. 😂

I've bought a 2004 kawaski prairie im going through bike fixing what others haven't... I have questions about the crank case is there a air intake to that . Also I have some type of electricle connection right by my foot break have no idea what that is I could use some help

That electrical connector is for the rear brake light. The crankcase will have a breather (vent) it won't have an intake besides the air box going to the carb. Hope this helps. Let us know if you need anything for this machine. www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports

Dumb qustion. Daughter has a 1998 400 prairie replaced both hand brake and foot brake rear cables and new shoes . Still have to crank the adjustment all the way tight for them to work . What am I missing here that shouldnt be .
