Good stuff David. Not a lot of Kawasaki 1500 videos out there...which is probably a good sign. I have a 99 1500 and just recently ran into an intermittent starting issue. Occasionally the starter button has nothing, just like the kill switch is off or the ignition is off. The maddening part is, whenever it is not working, by the time I grab any tools to check it out, at the next touch it works as normal. Ever run into anything similar?

Sounds like a connection issue, switch or starter solenoid ,,, Have a test light handy and when it happens again see if you have battery power to solenoid and check if when you hit start button you have power going to solenoid on the smaller wire coming from starter switch,,,, also could be switch at kickstand or clutch lever safety switches
