When you started that thing up it really reminded me of bringing my 1982 Virago 750 back to life after lowsiding it and learning how to resurrect it. Felt that same surge of excitement. Working on bikes is just so satisfying when everything clicks and you figure it out.

Cruisers aren't my style either, but, I'm pulled into anything that involves 2 wheels and a motor. A very odd disorder. The wife can't begin to understand it. 😀 looks like you'll come out ahead on this one. Glad for you, Tom.

@@romondreed5176 check that relay and the wiring to it. A bit of corrosion on the wiring or an old/worn relay will cause the issues

I'm making this comment at the 6 minute mark,I'd have looked at the coil and checked for a signal and 12 volts

There’s really no easy way to check it, but they are a really rare item to fail.
