That poor little sidestand will likely not last very long if abused this way. Any bike needing a kickstart should be resting on its two wheels, not even on a centre stand, when starting.

What can the poor guys do, when they are only 160 cm tall?

@@erik_dk842 Completely irrelevant if you know how to kickstart and ride such a bike, unless one's length is too short for riding anyway.

@@mmeijer635 I have had several Yamaha SR500 kick start only singles, and if a person has short legs, he could still be perfectly safe to ride them, while not standing a chance to start them with the left foot on the ground. I have 30" inseam, so I never used either stand while starting them.

Aha, "left foot on the ground". After several single Matchlesses, Norton twins and XT, SR 500 plus SRX600 Yammies, over 50 years time I NEVER left mij left foot on the floor, since kicking backed by my full weight appeared way more effective than just stretching a right leg. Yes, that takes balancing, which is what cycling is all about. Mind, at 69 I DO appreciate that little button, but still can get under way with a classic big single - which is more fun anyway.

@@mmeijer635 That little Japanese will have his balls squashed against the seat, if he tries to jump up and push the kick starter down with his right leg. I also used that technique. These days, my hands can't take the vibrations anymore, so I own only silky smooth bikes.
