The Z250 is something that we have to test extensively. The SL on the other hand is a machine that we might not get. As far as the G310R goes, October is when we shall know :)

Nice video. I'm watching it very late though. Anyway, I heard you say a couple of times in the video that the upright position is great for handling. But isn't front leaning riding posture more confidence inspiring around the corners? I always find upright posture less confidence inspiring and uncomfortable around corners in comparison.

Woahhh !!! Great first review guys. Sarge effortlessly moving round corners...almost fluidic. Btw. I believe the Z250 is based on the outgoing Ninja 250. The time z250 was first launched, starting with markets like Malaysia, the ninja 300 was yet to hit showrooms.

+kapil koka A lot has changed. The Yamaha R3 is now in the picture too. As far as your height goes, the duke 390 is shorter and you will be a bit cramped up. Head to the nearest Yamaha and Kawasaki showrooms and see which one suits your body the best. :)

I've been using this bike in Malaysia for half a year and so far no complaints. Apart from the not so grippy tyres (Road Winner for the Malaysian version) pretty much its a complete package. The power is there and has a good range of torque but do not expect a top speed of a normal super bike..haha. I wish the upcoming version (if available in the near future) will include abs as a standard option. cheers :) and nice vids.

Depends on what you crave for in a motorcycle. There's the sweet refinement of the parallel twin on Z, but awesome tyres on the Duke. Heck! Don't make us choose! Buy both!

Kunal Shukla The Z250 being a naked has good ergonomics for city riding but will have your face plastered with wind blast on the highway. The R25 on the other hand, looks sporty but has great ergos that can be suitable for city traffic. With the R25 not being around at the moment this seems a great fit. :)

PowerDrift Longtime fan here. I just wanna say that even though the 50 fps registers more detail, it isn't always a good thing. I feel it takes a lot away from the dramatic feel of the video. Happens with movies also. Anyways, its just a nitpick. It's just an opinion and I'm sure there are others who appreciate it more than I do. Love your work as always.

Nithin Ragav Sarge is about 5'11" tall and he found it to be quite comfortable. The Duke is a little deviated when it talks about ergonomics for taller riders.

Ohk...... Taken that this bike is lower in terms of engine displacement and goes as fast as duke 390 and the looks are just mind boggling....but i would still go for a duke 390..... After all abs and metzeler tyres are something which makes hell of a difference. Also at the price of about 3.5 lakhs on road for Z250, I believe Ninja 300 is by default a better go for those Richie rich(s) out there at about 4 lakhs, as it looks a bit more topnotch and with slipper clutch Ninja 300 deserves quite some consideration as well....

Hello, I am considering this bike to buy, but just want to clear a little confusion, how is the "upright" seating position on this bike?, I am ok with handlebars but are the footpegs placed more towards rear?, I feel having rear set footpegs gives more control and confident over bike in corners and even in straight line & after riding Yamaha R15, Honda CBR 150R I am pretty sure about it. Akshay Hingne Since the Z250 is more inclined towards being a street fighter, the rearsets are not that rear and are comfortable! As you can see, it can be taken around corners. :)
