Wish you had shown this green beauty. I have a '22 black with blue trim Z900. One of my favorite bikes. Came from an MT09 and don't miss it.I Guess I'll keep the stock exhaust. Smooth and quiet. Great video.

Recently got the CR-T Slip on for my 2023 Z900. I cannot wait to get their headers as well! Such an incredible sound!

Incredible commute to work , mate. I have the same bike but in my city of Hyderabad, I can do like 80 kph for a small stretch while heading to work. Such is our traffic lol. I do make up late nights though .

Your roads looks really slippery especially at the start of the video, are they really that bad or does the camera make them look worse than they are, awesome bike I got one in March this year.
@stockholmbiker
@stockholmbiker 2 жыл бұрын
I think the camera makes it look worse then it actually is. The white lines can be a little slippery, but it’s manageable and not really an issue. Congrats on a great bike! 😘

Is driving in the bus lane considered a violation in your country? How many kilometers to work?
@stockholmbiker
@stockholmbiker 5 ай бұрын
@jt50tmn Depends actually. If there is a sign that indicates motorcycles are allowed, then it's no problem. But most of the bus lanes doesn't have those signs, only a few places allow this, but most cops don't care if you ride there, it's generally considered safer then riding in the que with the cars. It is a hefty fine if you get caught though. I have about 20-25 kilometers to work.

@@stockholmbiker Thank you for your answers. I also upload videos from my moped. I'll get my Z900 soon and I'll post it in a few minutes. Our video format is the same, but I need to learn how to insert comments to situations on the road.

Sure, I've seen it but never tried one, how is it to ride? Never tried a BMW at all to be honest, but people seem really pleased with them so Im thinking they can't all be wrong. 😊

Does this exhaust come with a DB killer? I got a Yamaha MT-09 with Yoshimura R-77 full system which is also a racing exhaust, I ride it with the DB killer in because it was way too loud without it. Have been thinking about getting a new Z900 and I think the SC-Project full systems look great. Just wondering if it comes with a DB killer and is not overly loud, being a racing exhaust without the DB killer I'm pretty sure it's too loud for me.
@stockholmbiker
@stockholmbiker 2 жыл бұрын
Ifyou go with the SC-Project full system and don’t want it to be too loud you should choose a different slipon then the CR-T, cause that slipon doesn’t come with a DB-killer. Go with the SC-1 or something similiar and keep the DB-killer, that will be loud enough, without beeing too loud. Since fhe full system removes the thick ”breadbox” it opens up the exhaustsystem and it gets a lot louder. The combination of a full system and CR-T slipon on my bike was REALLY loud and it honestly was too much for my ears. The camera doesn’t pick up all of the noise.. 🤐🙃

Is a Power commander needed after installing full system ?? Or I can just leave it stock?
@stockholmbiker
@stockholmbiker 2 жыл бұрын
I would consider a power commander, or even better a ECU flash. You can run the bike without it, but it’s not a smooth ride in the lower rpm’s and it might be causing damage over time if you go without any of them. Im considering going back to the original exhaust system because of the noise alone, and because the bike will probably run a lot smoother.

Im sorry, just went downstairs to check and they were already on the bike when I bought it, and they aren’t labeled with the brand name, apart from ”Z900” so I honestly don’t know? 🤷‍♂️ They feel sturdy and proper though, so Im guessing they aren’t chinese knock-offs. 😅

Sounds real angry! Been thinking about those bar ends for a while now but I worry the visibility won't be as good as the (not so good looking) stock mirrors and it may also increase the handlebar vibes if the stock bar-end weights need to be removed. What is your experience with it?
@stockholmbiker
@stockholmbiker 2 жыл бұрын
They are actually quite good, I can see most of what’s behind me and they give the bike a cleaner look in my opinion. No other issues with the mirrors so I think they are worth it. 🙂
@svvitchio
@svvitchio 2 жыл бұрын
I have a similar set of these mirrors on my bike except I run them under the bars (more clearance for filtering). I can see a lot more with these mirrors looking back under my arms and past my waist than I could with the stock ones which are about shoulder height. Never noticed the lack of vibration damping, but then my last ride was an old Ducati that vibrated like a jack hammer so my frame of might be a little skewed.

You have steel or titanium headers?
@stockholmbiker
@stockholmbiker 2 жыл бұрын
@ViezeTurk To be honest, Im not really 100 % sure, since the system was on the bike when I bought it, but my best guess is that it’s the steel headers. They have the steel ”look”. 😅

Yes, I try to ride as long as there is no snow or ice, or when the temperature drops below-10 degrees celcius. Can’t really protect the hands at that temperature. 🥶
