I wonder,if would now fit the bigger windshield.
@SoloMCRider4 жыл бұрын
I know it’s strange but I love the look of the stock screen and it’s not bad at all on the highway speed at 80-85 mph so I think I will not add taller screen. :)
@1jodlar4 жыл бұрын
@@SoloMCRider I am getting it for sure,but don't know if the Power outlet will be in the way.
@SoloMCRider4 жыл бұрын
Nice 👍 let me know how you like it. I don’t think power outlet will interfere with the screen, Outlet is on top of handlebar and screen should be little far forward but you let me know when you do install it. Thank you mate !

I wonder how it would fit with a taller windscreen for touring
@SoloMCRider4 жыл бұрын
If I start touring I might get one! Bike as is not bad at all for 70-80 mph on a normal day !

Will you be able to put on a taller screen wanted it hit the DC power?
@ambydupuis4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the video. Is the power socket always live or is it switched with the contact key? I rephrase: do you have power when the bike is switched off, or do you need to turn ignition on to have power on the accessories plug?
@SoloMCRider4 жыл бұрын
Yes power comes on with the ignition turned on and it’s off when bike is off , remember this is connected to Accessory plug not to the battery directly. Thank you 😊

I'm surprised to see a cigarette lighter socket, is the a kawasaki accessory with USB instead? I know I can buy an adapter but they come off on road bumps and unstable so much prefer usb over cigarette lighter style. Also, did you find in your research a non kawasaki usb that comes with kawasaki bracket? I know I can get a much cheaper usb socket but that kawasaki bracket is priceless. Thanks for video
@SoloMCRider3 жыл бұрын
I wanted the usb hub charging port from the Kawasaki, same price but don’t come with the bracket and usb one for accessory port under the seat that is why I went with the cigarette lighter socket. Kawasaki should have brackets for both!

Thanks for replying, not sure which one to buy, any chance to take a picture of the connectors under the seat? I couldn't see those wires, if you are busy I will understand you have been a great help anyway. Thanks ✌

You can always buy one try to see if it fits if not return it. I have a feeling it will fit because bike is unchanged on the front end I believe. Product page probably didn’t update yet. Just giving you an idea lol don’t quote me on it if don’t work. I’m telling you what I would do lol 😂 Good luck 👍

98 dollars?!?! They wanted 70 dollars for the in dash plug for my Ninja. I bought a 15 dollar version on Amazon and it not only charges, but also has a voltmeter built in.

Yes I should have go with the Amazon version, way cheaper and 2 USB ports, only reason I got this for the bracket ! Not a smart decision

Which bolts exactly do the bolts with the red thread lock replace? Can't figure this out as they are much shorter than every bolt removed for this install...

you can buy it on line from Amazon $12.89 For outlet and Accessory for Motorcycles on line. $24.99 total. People do your homework & search the web & you will find everything you need at 1/3 D or 25% of the cost.
@SoloMCRider4 жыл бұрын
I agree with you! I did my fair share of research on usb and DC outlets and you are right about the price! I just wanted to see why Kawasaki charge $100 for it , so I made a video so you guys don’t have to spend the money for Kawasaki one. I m sure I mentioned on the video. Thank you for your feedback.

Somebody who knows the rear connection under or near the seat? I am searching for it and can't find it
@Replayeble Жыл бұрын
Im looking for the same thing, the front accessoire plug is allready in use for my grip warmers, i want to add a usb port.
@marco85life Жыл бұрын
@@Replayeble I have found a port for Accessoire right to the rear seat. For this you need to uncover the rear seat, the cover of the tail and on the right side you can find it under the tail. There is a transparent rubber grommet with a 2 pin "Sumitomo" cable plug. This is 12V ignition switched - perfect for an usb box✌🏻
