Those are kind words. I only addressed the 4 main aspects: air filter, oil filter, plugs and oil. I'll be making a follow up video for the other inspection and adjustment points to cover on a regular inspection service

Oil Filter 13 Ft Lbs. use thin layer of oil on rubber gasket of filter. Drain Bolt 21 Ft Lbs. use new crush washer. Recheck oil level after starting as oil filter is empty. Never check oil on pit or center stand. (Note: Oil filter hand or just beyond hand tight and drain bolt snugged up works just fine) BTW-excellent video!!

Bel lavoro grazie della condivisione! Domattina cambierò l’olio e il filtro olio. Sono a 10.500km. Filtro aria e candele aspetterò almeno 20.000/25.000 km ma lo farò fare in officina: troppo complesso! Bravo 👍

Very interesting. 👍👍. At under 10,000 miles that's quite early to change spark plugs and air filter. To be honest, that air filter didn't look bad, just surface dirt but when you flipped through the filter the inner paper looked clean. The electrodes on even the new spark plugs looked very thin. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Anyway, better safe than sorry.

Thanks for making this video. I noticed that at 16.08 you can see a scrubbing point on the black pipe you are holding, which could become a hole at some stage. Not sure if you should be concerned, but at least you can keep an eye on it. Cheers

Basically if she’s running well in clean type roads not dusty off road you can go without air filter and plug change. Oil is super easy change out and well worth doing realistically once per year with top quality synthetic 10-40 oil and filter. Same with glykol ~ wasser coolant.

Is it ok to gap plugs which have gone out of spec?
@DerekHerbst747
@DerekHerbst747 Жыл бұрын
It can be done but NGK recommend against it due to the brittle nature of the metals used, especially the inner electrode. The old ones on my bike were also a bit pitted, which is a good sign that it's time to replace them.

Service manuals are kinda right kinda wrong It does depend on fuel riding style and tune. I wouldn’t touch plugs this early but everyone does PM diffrent Yes they can last as long as 100,000 miles I check them at 20-25K And replace filter as needed. I don’t go by manuals just by experience but for the new rider learning it’s a good guide I guess. @@robsonenduro3316. so service ma.
