11:34 - 'Und der Rest ist Aerodynamik und Übersetzung' - die Verkleidung ist bei dem Motorrad einfach ziemlich ausladend (sonst gut für alles, aber eben nicht für Topspeed) und auch die Spiegel sind für Höchstgeschwindigkeit etwas im Wege. Mit zb. zwei Zähnen weniger hinten und etwas an der Aerodynamik gearbeitet waren auch sechs oder acht kmh mehr drin. Sie dreht hier bereits bei 10.800 Umdrehungen und ist über die Drehzahl maximaler Motorleistung schon hinaus. Aber danke fürs Teilen! ('Zwei Zähne hinten gleich ein halber Zahn vorne')(Das funktioniert natürlich +/- in beide Richtungen.)

Nice video mate. I was lucky enough to live in Germany for 14 years and well remember riding at top speed on Laverda Jota's, Honda CBX, GPZ 900, GSXR 1100 and the ZZR 1100. Great times.

ZZR1100 was dream bike of my youth...and still is perfect. Only, in 90's, if someone had dead wish and enough money...ZZR1100 was solution. I know place where 2 boys did hit bus station and bricks after that with 180km/h in village on black ZZR1100, they were collected with a shovel, terrible. Never the less, ZZR1100 is dream machine.

Wow you've just transported me back to 1990 when I had my first zzr1100, a 1989 C1. I loved it. Had to sell it due to job loss back then. Have a zzr1400 now though 😁

Das waren noch Zeiten, die bin ich 8 oder 9 Jahre gefahren, geiles Teil, mit ner etwas höheren Tourenscheibe, war perfekt, egal ob kurze oder lange Touren, einmal ausgefahren, 320 und die Nadel hat noch weiter gezuckt

I miss this. I had a brand new 1994 ZX-11 (American spec since I was American military in Germany at the time) ZZR1100 and used to do exactly this, on the exact same Autobahn. Enjoyed it immensely.

Terapi gibi geldi sayende tedavi oldum. 1999 yılında kaza yaptığım motosikletti. Kaza sonrası yedi hafta yoğun bakım da kalmıştım. Türkiye de bu modelin sağlamları kalmadı artık. Sürmesi çok zevkli bir motosiklettir. Böyle bir motosiklete sahip olmak güzel, sürüşün keyfini çıkar. Türkiye den selamlar kardeşim.

Fico admirado com a educação dos motoristas e do motociclista, que só passava quando lhe davam a passagem ou na lista permitida, nada de ficar costurando entre os carros, meus parabéns pela educação e pela moto, que aliás é uma maravilha. The German autobahn is not a lawless area. In Germany there is the guideline speed of 130 km/h (80 mph) on the highway. From 130 km/h and faster also changes in the motor insurance, where you can be prosecuted even if you are involved in an accident through no fault of your own and you share the damage caused and the financial costs with the other party. And the most important is the §315d (StGB) for forbidden motor vehicle races from the penal code. Here there are high penalties for recklessness on the road causing personal injury. Driving at an unreasonable speed to reach the maximum speed is then also considered racing. This §315d should always be kept in mind. Then rather visit the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring once, or visit a legally organized event where you meet sports friends right away. The Kawasaki looks beautiful and I wish the driver always accident-free ride.

They still run wonderfully mate. I still have a ZZR 1100 and it shocks many of the younger riders with its performance. I also have a ZX14R and find myself riding at the same speed on any given stretch of road because both bikes are so fast that the limit is set by the road, not the performance of the bike.
