Kawahi Leonard is one of the best players in the NBA. Top 5 in my opinion. This breakdown is coming after the Clippers have just lost to the Nuggets. I know many people have mixed feelings about him now. Not me tho, I understand the game a little differently. Seeing his progress year in and year out has been amazing. One of my favorite players to study.

The nugget you provided that can easily be overlooked is his hop step when he is in the lane. It really enables him to be balanced and the ability to chose his pivot foot. Good breakdown, I enjoyed your perspective!

Not a lot of people talk about his game he can dribble with both hands lay up and attack with both. Can pull of the right side of the court or left side of the court. Shoot 40 % for three for career which is considered about average for the Nba. 86% ft 49% fg.

1:41 classic play by kawhi, when players are denying the ball to him he will tell the ball handler to pass it to the guy(near him)where he can handoff the ball and forces the switch. Until now he is doing it
