I would say now is the time to push back into competitive standings and let the stars mesh. When there is a more comfortable position regarding standings I'd say would be a better time to work on depth. If they lose more games now rather than later it will feel like they are forced to play the stars to get into better playoff standings in the latter part of the season.

@@jacobwiley411 You're missing my point. It's good they are starting to mesh. But in the process, they're crippling the rest of the team. If those other guys are rusty, they will not be able to help relieve that pressure in the playoffs. You can't rely solely on the new rotation. If they burn out or get hurt, then all of this is for nothing. Now is the time, to let some of those young guys chip in. Remember, this team was doing great before Harden arrived. Bones is a bona-fide threat and he has no place in the rotation. Why? It's no different from load managing. If you aren't pushing your body to work through the fire, you'll eventually get burned or injured, because your body hasn't been pushed to deal with the grind that comes with playoff basketball. Essentially what I'm saying is, what good is a standing, if you don't have the pieces to sustain it. Lord forbid anything happens to the stars, but if one goes down, they'll give those minutes to a rusty player, who could be at risk himself, because you are spreading the team thin.

Kawhi at his peak really isn't that far off from all the other "all-time greats". Same with guys like Dirk/Pierce/Garnett, etc. Kawhi could go toe to toe with Kobe and MJ tbh, and I wouldn't be opposed to taking Kawhi over Lebron/KD/Bird/Kobe in an all-time team. That being said, Booker still owns Kawhi
