He’s bringing hope to us finally of winning our first Eastern Conference championship. That’s massive for our team and our city. If he somehow wins tonight, and hopefully win a ring, he’ll get a statue in Toronto, even for the 1 championship; if he leaves this summer. That’s the legacy a great player like Kahwi deserves, even after all the drama in SA. Some doctor in the Toronto newspapers, was theorizing that Kahwi could be suffering from Fibromyalgia, and that’s why he seems hurt all the time. It would exactly explain everything that happened in SA, and the 20 “load management” games this season.

@4 Fake I know what you mean. I'm all about the old school manning up, but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt due the high stakes circumstances. He's coming back from an injury that took him out all but 9 games last season. Toronto's waited almost 25 years for this kind of player. So if Kawhi was still feeling insecure about that injury throughout this season and they felt it was the best way to get him into peak playoff shape, so be it. Toronto fans don't care, because they root for the team whether he's playing or not. We needed him for the playoffs. Now if this becomes the norm for him after this season, then we might have a Big Baby alert! Glen Davis, be on notice, though I think Lebron, Kyrie and KD already stole that nickname away a while ago. Last thing, Kawhi is a really good player and a difference maker, but he is no Jordan or Kobe. Enjoy the playoffs!

What we have learned from this series: Kawhi is clearly a better player than The Greek Freak, who will be MVP He has some sort of injury, and he's STILL BETTER than The Greek Freak
@johnmay95985 жыл бұрын
@InsaneGaming I guess it depends how much you put into the difference between "hurt" and "injured". He's clearly playing hurt. Noticeably hurt. It's significantly limited his movement and his jump. There were too many plays to count where he did something differently than he's been doing it for the first two series. The fact that he has enough variety to his game that he can recognize the issue and adjust to play around it and still be the best player on the court is what is impressive here. That's why he's outshined Giannis in this series, it's made it clear that Giannis is incredible at playing Giannis's game, but he only has the one game. It's possible to adjust defensively to limit the effectiveness of that game. Kawhi has multiple games he can play, and he's still elite. You adjust to what he's doing, and he just switches things up and drops another 30+.

The Raptors deserved to win game 5 and they earned the victory playing on the road in Milwaukee. They were the better and far greater team than compared to the Bucks whom played great in the first quarter to start the game off, but then they were outplayed in the next three quarters being dominated especially in the last final fourth. Overall, based on their performance, they deserved to lose and for the Raps, they were big time with their bench players playing great and solid hitting clutch shots mainly from Freddy whom hit 7 three pointers scoring 21 points in total which was impressive and terrific. That was the major factor of the game in him being their x factor because without VanVleet making those shots, the Raps don't win this game. As well, Kawhi was just dominant again in another masterful game performing plus playing at a high level scoring 35 points and picking up a career high in assists with 9 in total. He was phenomenal overall with his performance willing his Raps team to one of the biggest wins in their franchise history with the next game 6 being the biggest game of their teams playoff season run in franchise playing at home in Toronto. It will be a crazy and key game for creating and achieving more history for the Toronto Raptors as game 6 will be very significant and more meaningful than just another game for eliminating the Bucks. This one will change the entire franchise as a whole if the Raps are able to win clinching not only the series, but becoming eastern conference champs for the first time ever and playing in their very first NBA finals against the Warriors. Thus, all of these things are very tremendous factors for the organization which will be achieved and accomplished after tomorrows game 6. The Raps will win this series in 6. They just devastated the Bucks players and fans hearts after winning game 5. The team is now heartbroken and not mentally confident in their minds for themselves that they will be able to win 2 straight games in a row. Therefore, the Raps have gained all of the momentum and competitive advantage winning three straights games and about the secure a fourth straight in eliminating the Bucks in 6 games! Let's go Raps! Time for history and new records or goals to be achieved!!!

Chris Carter: I gave birth to Kawhi. Kawhi:
@GoWestYoungMan5 жыл бұрын
People go on endlessly with talk about Kawhi leaving for LA of NY. The argument that the situation with the LA Clippers and New York Knicks is superior to that of the Toronto Raptors has never held water. The Raptors organization is as good as they come from top to bottom, the Raptors are a championship contender, he gets to play in one of the world's great cities, and Kawhi gets to play in a country that never bailed on him. Leaving for LA or NY doesn't make any sense.

You tripping. Kawhi was clearly playing better then LeBron. Kawhi was playing BOTH SIDES of the floor, taking over in the forth AND locking down Giannis. Just like when he did it to none other than LeBron himself.

I've been saying all year that Kawhi realized he's got a good situation in Toronto. Never mind the winter weather. That's only temporary. There's far more upside to staying with the Raptors than taking several steps backwards to joining either of the two existing L.A. teams. Age and time is going to start becoming a factor for him. He doesn't have years to waste.

Yeah, but he missed out on too many games. I think he can’t regret it because the team has built strength and character from his presence and his time out. He has strength for the playoffs and a chip is more important to him than a media award. I for one am happy that what could have been career ending has given him a new team and some longevity. I hope he stays in Toronto

7:40 the only only thing the Clippers have to offer is home town the Knicks have absolutely nothing to offer Kawhi over Toronto. anyone who says anything about how great a city NYC is or how big a star you are playing there, has clearly never been to Toronto. 3rd largest city in the NBA
