Do you ride in shallow water? If yes chances are the oil cooler and stator housing and cooling channels in the block are packed full of mud or sand. I would check all of the cooling hoses first, to make sure they are not clogged up or kinked and go from there. Are you using 10-40 synthetic oil?

No, it will not. Are you using the correct oil weight and have you checked all your cooling and water feed lines for kinks? If you ride or start in shallow water the engine, oil cooler, and or stator cooler could be packed with sand. Overheat typically due to cooling issue...

It to an idle and shut engine off, within 10 seconds the warning light shuts off and I can go another 30 minutes before it overheats again and sometimes it won't over heat. Very weird

It's probably a kinked feed hose.."looked at it" is worthless to you if they didn't fix it and actually check all the hoses..which doubt they did. You can test the temp sender for resistance to make sure it's not a sensor issue first and if it's not, that means it's a water feed cooling issue

@@robertcook5974 scusa se scrivo in italiano...se usi il jet ski prevalentemente in mare e non fai subito e bene il risciaquo motore quando hai finito di usarlo, a volte l'ossido che si forma tra la guarnizione ed il collettore di scarico intasa i piccoli fori di uscita dell'acqua di raffreddamento e questo fa aumentare la temperatura
