A leader steadfast and true, guiding with your threats and deep wisdom.
With gratitude profound, we raise our voices to all leaders now and still to come.

You showed us true servant leadership at a scale we never imagined can be.
You were the President, we thought we were here to serve you. But you dispelled that at the very start, ordering us to serve the people with all that we can.
Through your actions we learned what public service must be and that we in government are public servants, not royalties.
You opened our eyes to what before was unthinkable…
It might have been just a simple meal you shared with all of us, but for us, it was the highlight of our lives, forever imprinted in our memories, something to look back on with joy, with pride.
You ate along with us and made sure everyone’s served. Through your actions that came as natural as your green jokes, we felt that we mattered and so we gave our all to serve.
Who would have imagined that soldiers will be seen laughing and smiling as they lay wounded, bones broken, on hospital beds after the hell that was the Marawi siege. The same smiles and laughter filled the hospital wards occupied by wounded soldiers and cops after other encounters with terrorists and outlaws. But we did and that’s because you made serving the country such a joy.
You bantered with us, your wounded soldiers, erasing our pain and fears, and even in our worst nightmares we remained steadfast on serving the country even more.
You were generous with your greetings and handshakes and praised, never reserving it only for the powerful. We never thought we’d have photos with you, we always thought that privilege is only for the few. It wasn’t. It was for all, especially us who served with you. We have the photos to show over and over again till the end of our days.
You were the country’s President, and yet you looked out for us, bantered with us, sat down with us. Under your leadership, we had the courage to stand up for what’s right because you had our backs. Under your administration, we gave our all in our tasks because you were giving your all as well.
You saw us as your partners, you showed how valuable our work was, and you made us feel how great the Philippines is.
You gave your all to serve the Philippines and in doing so, we marched along with you. We were bravely serving with compassion for the people and a deep love for the Philippines.
We can never thank you enough for showing that serving the people is a privilege and a source of pride, and giving less than we must is a mindset most shameful.
With gratitude, we honor your noble quest,

Though our voices may be a whisper amid the shouts and megaphones of the few who disagree,
