Kayak Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake BELVADEER | SO MANY LONG LINE RELEASES ON BIG BASS!!!

The final regular season bass tournament for the Iowa Kayak Anglers was held on Lake Belvadeer, a new lake to me. I found a pattern in pre-fishing that was producing big bass and put that strategy to the test for tournament day. I caught a lot of fish and hooked some really big bass, but as luck would have it, I lost almost all of the biguns this day. I can't remember a time when I've struggled this much to land fish. It didn't seem to matter what bait I was using, it just wasn't my day.
I was happy to have put together such a solid plan and look forward to building on the successes of this season moving into next year.
Lake Belvadeer has some huge bass in it, and I was close to putting some of those in the Kayak for a big tournament win. Better luck next time I guess and congrats to all the members of the IKA that did well and moved on to the championship tournament.
