Yep it definitely was on the rough side but I felt comfortable. Wasn't out there alone and I keep my life jacket on. I wouldn't go solo on a sporty day!

Jighead size always depends on water depth and current speed. Generally for trout, the lighter you can get away with the better.

Probably! I release most over 20". Had a big crew wanting some fish to eat, and weather hadn't allowed us many days of fishing. Made an exception for that one.
