Thanks for sharing these beautiful impressions! Do you have any experience with the long term durability of the latches in particular? Let's say I assemble and disassemble the kayak about 2 times a week. Do you think this will be a problem in the long run?

So we had issues with two sets of latches where latches broke. The replaced all the latches for free. Last time they broke I had a phone call with the owner of Pakayak and they are using a new manufacturer who is using a different processes for making the latches. All has been good so far.

awesome video, any reason you guys now are using Pakayak over your Oru Kayaks?

Glad you enjoyed the video. We get asked this question a lot actually. The Orus shell is not robust enough for us. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking it on rocky beach landings year over year. Basically the Pakayak can take more of a beating. Also having a fully sealed compartment is comforting for self rescue purposes. Don't need float bags for safety which take up a lot of packing room for overnight adventures.

Curious what kind of GPS that is in the jeep -- like the size. Garmin ?

Hahaha, it's a sony Android Auto mount. Honestly the video makes it look a lot nicer than it is. In the sun its barley viewable.
