This was my first trip exploring the Seneca Cayuga Canal system on a kayak. For this first adventure I launched and stayed close to Oak Island in Waterloo NY, and I was super surprised how easy the launch was. Not a super busy place even on the weekends, and the ramp is a gentle slope that shouldn't scrap up your kayak. I found out pretty quick that theres a nice bass population around the island. Hope you folks enjoy!
