Kayak Fishing - Catching Cornish Cod - A Change from Pollock

When we think of inshore shallow water fishing in Cornwall for members of the Cod family, we tend to think of Pollock with the occasional bonus catch of Cod. This trip is about drift fishing over a rough ground mark vertical jigging using lures and catching more Cod than Pollock. The lures used are Sidewinder Weedless Minnows, Slug-Go’s, and Savage Sandeel Slugs, with tips on the technique used. In addition to the Cod fishing I put a crab pot out in the hope of catching a Spider Crab.
