Kayak Fishing Fail & Water Rescue (Ascend 128T Flip)

Leo bought a new Kayak! So I joined him on the water for its maiden voyage. The plan was to catch some bass and hopefully some snakehead. Had a decent day of fishing. Then Leo called out in need of help. Yup he flipped his new Yak. Luckily it was a hot day, but he broke some gear.

So the bungee strap that is under the guys seat is what holds the seat in place. I have one of those ascends for a loaner wrap the bungee around the leg several times for more tension.

I have a 128T also. The loop of bungee below the seat should be wrapped around each "corner" of the seat base.

Leo's flip is exactly why everything in your kayak is attached. I have all my tackle in a milk crate and it is all strapped in with bungee cords. All my rods have tethers on them when not in use. My anchor is tied off. I installed tiedown points for use anywhere on the kayak. Just some suggestions. Great video!

You all need to come down to Mattawoman Creek, or anywhere off the Potomac and winsome Snakehead fishing out of kayaks. I quit bass fishing until I discovered Snakehead. They are upwards of 20 pounds! ..also where I found the 1545 Mexico City mint 1 reale I found. ( mentioned in another video of yours)

Happy Independence Day Hoovers!!! They sure were some chunky bass. Please be careful of cranking a basses jaw down. It can damage their jaw, especially on the larger bass.
