I've thought about launching from there several times. Is it legal to launch from Buckroe beach? I know they have rentals, but...

I know multiple people who launch there. Not sure if it’s a designated launch spot but I’ve never heard or seen anyone have issues with it.

@@ZackBostick Yeah, I just talked to someone who works down there. He said it was fine as long as you don't do it too close to the pier. Also, if too many people start doing it, he's going to make them launch from the northern end of the beach. I'd be fine with that I think.

i added like 5' of chain to my kayak anchor for last time i went and did this at buckroe. might help the anchor

Prolly wouldn’t be a bad idea at all. I was going to bring like a 5 or 10lb gym weight but forgot it in my car. Chain is a good idea though for sure. Thanks man
